Deborah L. Bendon Obituary
The passing of Deborah L. Bendon (Watervliet, New York) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 7, 2025 at the age of 70. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter "Jake" Spiak and Pauline Spiak (Opalka); and her brother Walter A. "Jake" Spiak. She is survived by: her granddaughter Louise; her husband Thomas G. Bendon; her children, Thomas E. Bendon (Jennifer Schoolfield), Alex M. Bendon, Adam M. Bendon, Matthew V. Bendon and Louise Bendon; her sisters, Kathleen Spiak, Cynthia Varacchi (John "Rocco"), Tamara Spiak Derico (Robert), Loretta Spiak (Cheryl Woods), Karen Spiak and Kimberly Cuva (Gerard); and her sister-in-law Mary Jane Bendon Couch (Mark). She is also survived by several cousins and many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parker Bros. Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. (2013 Broadway, Watervliet, NY 12189). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Basil's Russian Orthodox Church (Archibald Street, Maplewood, NY).
