She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Opalka and Carmella Opalka (DiMura). She is survived by: her siblings, Michael Opalka (Mary) of Cohoes and Theresa "Terry" Prairie (Andrew) of Waterford; her nephews, Michael J. Opalka (Kari Reed) of Cohoes, Jeffrey S. Opalka of Waterford, Justin G. Prairie of Cohoes and Trevor M. Prairie (Amanda) of Sacramento, CA; her great-nephews, Tyler and William Prairie; and her great-niece Amanda Opalka.
Services will be held privately because of Covid restrictions and a celebration of Connie's life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, her family suggests that donations be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 1 Marcus Boulevard, #104, Albany, NY, 12205 in memory of Connie M. Opalka.
