The memory of Charles W. Haner (Watervliet, New York), who passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Haner and Joyce Haner. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Haner (Novak); his stepdaughters, Donna Rieck (Erni), Mary Hirsch (Jerry), Brenda Rossi (Peter) and Antoinette Guenette (Michael); and his daughters, Elizabeth Bousquet and Kimberly Bouvie. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (181 Troy-Schenectady Rd, Watervliet, NY 12189). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at 986 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY10306 in Charles memory.
