He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Heffernan and Mary Rose Heffernan of Watervliet; his wife Mimi; his daughters, Laura Heffernan and Marcie Stoffer (Chad); his grandchildren, Mackenzie Litz, Skylar Litz, Eoghan Stoffer and Elizabeth Stoffer; and his brothers, William (Kathy) of Saratoga Springs and Thomas (Janice) of Plymouth, MA. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the Regional Food Bank or Community Hospice would be appreciated.
