He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCarthy and Eva McCarthy (Soroka); and his sister Janice Anderson. He is survived by: his children, Lee McCarthy (Andrea), Shelley M. McCarthy (Gerald L. Wilkinson) and Brian J. McCarthy, Jr.; his grandchildren, Lee, Erica McCarthy, Jr., Katie, Evan Engel, Ashley E., Ayden C., Austin F. McCarthy, Joseph M and Joshua L. Johnson; his great grandchildren, LJ, Madelynne, Connor, Gabriella McCarthy, Logan Engel and Jayce R. Johnson; and his sister Sharon Kopcza.
