He was predeceased by: his parents, Santo Derico and Domenica Natarelli Derico; and his brother Anthony. He is survived by: his wife Esther Theresa Piazza Derico; his children, Diane S. Derico of Latham and Arthur J. Derico (Sharon) of Rochester Hills, MI; his grandchildren, Stephen J. Derico (Veesta) of San Francisco, CA, Benjamin A. Derico (Melis Sonmez) of San Francisco, CA, Erica M. Derico (Lucas Wendt) of Chicago, IL, Claudia Derico and R. N. of New York City; and his siblings, Albert, John (Samuel Derico) and Philomena Chiappone (Nicoletta Romanelli). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
