It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Antoinette M. Halayko (Watervliet, New York), who passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stephen W. Halayko; her parents, John Bania and Aniela Magda Bania; her daughters-in-law, Mary Halayko and Mary Beth Clancy Halayko; and her siblings, Mary Hanczor, Constance Alston, Thaddeus Bania and Dr. Andrew J. Bania.
She is survived by: her children, William (Patricia), Thomas (Connie), Paula Lathrop (Barry), Mary Ann "Mame" Kling (Dennis) and Jay Halayko; and her grandchildren, Lance Halayko, Alex Halayko (Francesca), Kaylyn Halayko, Brendan Halayko (Beth), Joshua Lathrop (Heather), Ashlee Lathrop, Lisa Alfieri (Christopher), Paul Gill (Wilma) and Jennifer Sober (Kenneth). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church (2416 7th Ave, Watervliet, NY 12189). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
