He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Patrick and Blanche Rose Quillman Cleary; his sister Patricia Fleming (John W.); and his siblings-in-law, Anthony F. Gurdo, Sr. and Ann "Bunny" Congelo.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen P. J. Cleary (Karen) of Waterville, Martha Sorce (James S.) of Fairport, Mary Ann Knapp (Donald B.) of Sauquoit and Megan Toumbacaris (Christopher W.) of Camillus; and his sister-in-law Dolores "Dee" Gurdo of New Hartford. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
