She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Edwin Deland Battles and Francis Huffman Battles; and her brother Dr. Edwin Deland Battles. She is survived by: her sister Dianne Hearn (Battles); her children, Mhora Lorentson (Gary) of Tucson, Jane Stephenson (Walter) of Deansboro, NY and Creighton Newsom of Albany, NY.; and her grandchildren, Liska, Lucinda, Alec Savage, Elizabeth, Laura, Catie Newsom-Stewart and Sonja Newsom.
