It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John P. Paino of Waterville, New York, born in Eaton, New York, who passed away on September 9, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid John farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For John is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Paino and Mary Segro Paino; his wife Katherine Welsh; his daughter Deborah; his brother Andy; his sister-in-law Grace Paino; his brother Joseph; his sister-in-law Ann Bono; his brother Cesaro; his sister-in-law Beatrice Bono; his sister Rose Elias; and his close friend Freida Curtis.
He is survived by: his daughter Wendy (Bill Rashford) of Waterville; and his brother Anthony "Tony" Paino (Bonnie) of Madison. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
