He is survived by: his wife Karen Gehringer; his children, Sara Baird (Alan) and Edward Wheeler, Jr. (Jessica); his grandchildren, Lilly, Emily, Ash, Trina, Dillon, Colin and Nicholas; and his nieces and nephews, Leslie, Jennifer, Cori, Sharon, Michael, James, John, Rob, Jason, Shawn, Jackie, Wayne and Randy.
