He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Farber and Helena Erickson Farber; his son Claude W. Farber, Jr.; and his brothers, Victor Lawrence Farber and Lawrence Joseph Farber, Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Terri Buell (Eugene Klein) of New Berlin, David Farber (Michelle) of Boones Mill, VA, Tracy Diaz (Mark) of Brunswick, GA, William Farber (Diane) of Hubbardsville, Dean Farber (Chrissy) of Otego, Tricia Bushee (Dan Maynard) of New Hartford and Sean Farber (Shendy) of Wirtz, VA; his stepchildren, Donna and Lee; his siblings, Patricia Huntley (Clyde Gierut), Linda Decker (Brian), Elwood Farber (Martha) and Arthur Tessier Farber (Anne); and his close friend Mary Jane Toussaint. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

“I am so sorry to hear that Claude is gone. He was a very kind and gentle man. We were friends for many, many years, played a lot of cards and had lots of nice visits.. I did see him a couple of times recently, but of course wish there could have been one more visit. I miss Claude but am glad His pain and discomfort is gone.. I know this has to be so hard for all of you. I will be praying for your family... Joan Warner”
