He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald E. Berkman and Ethel Berkman (Smith); his wife Carol A. Berkman; his grandson Jory Biedekapp; and his brothers, Michael and Thomas Berkman.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Biedekapp (Jeff Rehley) of Watertown and Rick Berkman (Jessica) of Potsdam; his grandchildren, Jade Briar, Tyler Berkman and Parker Berkman; his brother Jim Berkman (Jenn) of Salisbury, MD; and his mother-in-law Grace Crimmins of Watertown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in Bill's memory may be made to the American Lung Association or St. Jude's.
