It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Knox Cole Sr. of Watertown, New York, who passed away on June 20, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Cole and Elizabeth Cole (Bohling); his wife Frances; and his siblings, Jesse Jr., David A. Cole and Barbara J. Cronk.
He is survived by: his children, Alice Thompson of Wichita Falls, TX, Joanne Leger of Ooltewah, TN, Owen Cole of Wichita Falls, TX, Walter Cole, Jr., Steven and William Cole. He is also survived by spouses, all of Watertown; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
