He is survived by: his wife Vera Rowsam of Watertown; his stepchildren, Philip Grant of Sarasota Springs, Kipp Grant of Baldwinsville, Robert Grant of Fayetteville, NC, Karree Chamberlain of Tennessee, James Houghmaster and Tamara Ryan; and his siblings, William Nichols and Letra Newell of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
