He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernal D. Parks and Eunice A. Parks (Landry); his wife Donna L. Steele; and his grandchildren, Meghan Marie Couse and Eric Zachary Lorraine.
He is survived by: his children, Leslie Parks-Beyer (Gary), Janet Lorraine (Eric), Allison Couse (Thomas), Scott Parks (Christine) and Marybeth LaVallee (Eric); his grandchildren, Brandon Beyer (Emily), Austin Beyer (Lauren), Emily Lorraine, John Lorraine, Alyssa Kealy (Matt), Natalie Couse, Tyler Parks and Erin Parks; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey Kealy, Lillian Beyer, Brynlee Beyer, Lane Beyer and Landon Kealy.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Reed and Benoit Funeral Home (632 State St, Watertown, NY 13601). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Evans Mills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Evans Mills Volunteer Ambulance Squad, and Hospice of Jefferson County.
