Shirley Jobson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Jobson of Watertown, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Greenwood and Sadie Greenwood (McGuire); her husband Clarence A. Jobson; her daughter Linda Valenteen (Walter); her son-in-law Gary Hayes; and her brothers-in-law, Gene Jobson, Gordon Jobson and Ed Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Hayes (Patrick) of Clayton, NY, Kay Woodward (Joseph) of Watertown, NY and Larry Jobson (Karen) of Brownville, NY.; her grandchildren, Paul Hayes (Megan), Mark Hayes (Aimee), Jason Hayes (Sara), Megan Thomas (Andrew), Victoria Woodward and Emily Baker (Jimmy); her great grandchildren, Eily, Wesley Hayes, Teaghan, Brantley Hayes, Maeve Hayes, Kallen, Beckett Thomas, Eli and Avery Baker; her siblings, Eileen Baker of Florida, Mary Louise Lyman (Robert) of Florida and Lorne Greenwood (Virginia) of South Carolina; her sister-in-law Geraldine Brass (David) of Rodman, NY; and her cousins, Harold and Carolyn O'Brien. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home (117 N Massey St, Watertown, NY 13601). A prayer was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (129 Winthrop St, Watertown, NY 13601).
