It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Sue Shamey (Watertown, New York), who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Rebecca Sue may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shamey and Corinne Shamey (Runion). She is survived by: her brothers, Matthew Shamey of Watertown and Timothy Shamey of California; and her pet Josephine.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Life Church of the Nazarene (535 Thompson Blvd, Watertown, NY 13601).
