He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Raymond Filley and Ina Marie Filley (Lucas); and his wife Mary Margaret Filley. He is survived by: his sons, RJ Filley (Heidi) and Joseph Filley (Emily) of Hounsfield; and his siblings, Louise Towne (Patrick) of Plano, Barbara Mozejko (Kim) of Hounsfield, Alfred Filley (Amy) of Hounsfield and Jacqueline Sweitzer (Darrell) of Hounsfield. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home Inc. (632 State St, Watertown, NY 13601-2839). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
