She was predeceased by: her husband Robert F. Newman; her son Patrick; her sister Shirey Crupi; her father Lawrence Benson,; her stepmother Pearl Benson; and her parent Marion Luddington Benson.
She is survived by: her children, James Newman (Jill), Kathleen Newman, Thomas Newman of Yakima, WA, Lisa Newman of Austin, TX, Stephen Newman (Brenda) and Timothy Newman (Heather Wheeler-Wood); and her brother Lawrence Benson, Jr.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
