Though Mark may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mark touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Kurtz and Jean Heilig; his children, Mark Kurtz, Jr. of Watertown, Matthew Kurtz of Watertown and Heidi Schaeffler (Steve) of Syracuse; his grandchildren, Carter, Colton Schaeffler and Sabria Summers; and his siblings, Scott, Jeff, Kim and Penny.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
