He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence A. Ward and Doris L. Slate Ward; his siblings, Jack Tennant, Gerald Tennant and Darlene Ward; and his nephew Cody Tennant.
He is survived by: his sister Tiny (John); his close friend Hal; his siblings, Ione Parker (John), Craig Ward and Paul Ward; his nieces, Jeanne Tufo (Michael) and Jacqueline (David); his nephew Kelvin Tennant; his great-nephew Cyrus Beckmann (Morgan); and also, Opal and Onyx.
