It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph M. Harwood of Watertown, New York, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland C. Harwood Sr. and Marion Harwood (Sculco); his daughter Jeanette Hinson; his siblings, Roland Harwood Jr., Martha Anderson and Elizabeth Harwood; his nephew Roger Harwood; and his niece Sheri Harwood.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Harwood of Watertown; his children, Brigid Harwood of Watertown, Ryan Harwood (Jocelyn) of Philadelphia, PA, Thomas Roberts of Watertown, Michael J. Roberts of Watertown and Kathy Roberts of Watertown; his grandchildren, Aden, Abel and Mia; and his brother Sanford Harwood (Rosemary) of Watertown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in Joseph's memory may be made to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, Hospice of Jefferson County, or to a charity of one's choice.
