He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul N. Gould and Cordelia C. Gould (Ford); his daughter Ellen Marie; his granddaughter Jordan Marie Gould; his great grandchild Stephen James John Gould II; and his siblings, Milton, Robert, Willard Gould and Myrtle Chartrand.
He is survived by: his wife Julie C. Gould of Watertown; his children, Rebecca L. "Becky" (Currin Gass), Jessica A. (Chris Hanlin) and Stephen P. Gould of Romulus; his grandchildren, Stephen James John (Xandra Gould), Brittany Schmidt, Brian Hanlin, Grason Schmidt, Isabella Ward, Brayden Hanlin, John "Jack" Ward and Currin Gass IV; and his great grandchild Elodie Rae Ann Gould. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
