John A. Cleary Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Cleary of Watertown, New York, who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn M. "Lindy" Gilligan; and his brother Donald Cleary. He is survived by: his sons, John A. Cleary Jr. (Marcie), Richard S. Cleary (Cathy Maley) and William A. Cleary (Elizabeth Whilcher); and his siblings, Albert Cleary Jr., Frances Catalina of Syracuse, Constance Cleary of Watertown and Evelyn Findelis of Pillar Point. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to Hospice of Jefferson County, 1398 Gotham St., Watertown, NY 13601.
