He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. DiStefano and Elizabeth M. DiStefano (Messina); his son J. P. DiStefano III; and his siblings, John J. DiStefano, Sr., Bernadette M. Zilnik and Mary A. DiStefano.
He is survived by: his wife Janet E. DiStefano of Anthony's Church; his daughter Katey C. DiStefano of Long Island; his grandchildren, Olivia and James; his sister Carol A.; his brother-in-law John P. Pecori; his brothers, Gene A. (Carolyn DiStefano, Sr.), Anthony J. (Betty DiStefano) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Lyle; his sister-in-law Jolie Penistan; and his nephew Gene DiStefano, Jr.. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
