She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Clemons and Mildred Clemons (Williams); her husband Fred; and her siblings, Max Clemons and Patricia Twitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Frederick G. "Rick" Tontarski (Eileen) of Black River, Loren S. Tontarski (Sherry) of West Henrietta, NY, Candice J. "Candy" Wilt (Dean) of Watertown, Terry L. Tontarski (Shelly) of Watertown, Lucinda A. Hance (Joseph) of Watertown and Daniel C. Tontarski (Jackie) of Watertown; her siblings, Helen Bickford of California, Larry Clemons (Joan) of Oklahoma and Jim Clemons (Jodi) of Kansas; and her sister-in-law Therresa Clemons of Washington. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bruce Funeral Home (131 Maple St, Black River, NY 13612). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Black River Ambulance Squad, Hospice of Jefferson County or the Alzheimer's Association.
