The memory of Gerald F. Wiley of Watertown, New York, who passed away on December 14, 2024 at the age of 102, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond P. Wiley and Mary McManaman Wiley; his wife Elaine A. Hooper; his son Gregory J. Wiley; and his sisters, Catherine E. Bauter and Mary Patricia McRae.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald M. "Jerry" Wiley, James S. Wiley (Elizabeth Forshaw), Joseph F. Wiley (Theresa Woods), Phillip Wiley, Cecilia M. Augustus (Marc) and Geneva. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (129 Winthrop St, Watertown, NY 13601). A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at the Glenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in Gerald's name may be made to Holy Family Church, 129 Winthrop St., Sisters of St. Joseph, 866 Arsenal St., or Hospice of Jefferson County, 1398 Gotham St., all in Watertown, NY 13601.
