He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd J. Harter Sr. and Alice M. Harter (Hartley); his uncle Glenn; his sisters, Carol Jane Harter and Carolyn Macy (Bob); his parents-in-law, Paul and Marjorie Lortie; and his son-in-law Mark Mason Sr..
He is survived by: his former wife Eleanor Pollock; his children, Julie Mason (Mark), Linda Harter, Kathy Davis (Jeff), Carrie Butler (Craig) and James C. Harter (Samantha); his wife Joanne Harter; his brother Steven Harter (Barb); his children, Mark Jr., Hannah, Lauren, Dylan, Caitlin, Ashley, Daniel, Alex, Jacob, Rachel, Kaylee, Kara and Kaden; and his friends, Lenny Gillen and Carl Deon.
