With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward C. Thomas of Watertown, New York, who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Edward farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Edward is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his mother Ethel Thomas; his son-in-law Abel Lynch; his grandson William Brett; and his great grandchild Reid Rajner. He is survived by: his wife Joanne LaLonde; his sons, John Mccready (Tammy) of Caledonia, NY and Scott Thomas (Patricia); and his brother Robert (Janet).
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the D. L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc. (135 Keyes Ave, Watertown, NY 13601). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church (320 W Lynde St, Watertown, NY 13601).
