He was predeceased by: his grandson Alexander S. Nicholson; his son Alexander; and his sisters, Helen Denner, Evelyn Buckles and Martha Mackley (Jean).
He is survived by: his children, Deborah A. Jeror (Butch) of Adams, NY, Lennie Nicholson (Lisa) of Allen, TX, Howard M. Nicholson (Lisa) of Lexington, KY and Catherine E. Sherman Watertown (Jerry); his grandchildren, Justin, Amber, Kyle, Mackenzie, Karissa Matthew, Marlayna, Sadie, Savannah, Mitch and Tyler; his great grandchildren, Ariana, Mark, Mason, Leila and Lily; and his pet Brandi.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (20020 County Rt 65, Ives St Rd, Watertown, NY 13601). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
