With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Amidon-Powers of Waterloo, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 26, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Arbogast and Grayce Ernst Arbogast; her husbands, Charles Amidon Jr. and Lloyd Powers; her son Richard Amidon; and her brother Lester Arbogast Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Trumble (Kent) of Waterloo and Cyndee Jepsen (Dan) of Stanley; her sister Joyce Lansing of Syracuse; her grandchildren, Eric, Evan and Erin Trumble; and her great grandchildren, Trevor, Elizabeth Trumble and Hunter Kosienski. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the First United Methodist Church or the Happiness House.
