He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Veeder and Hattie Shoots Veeder; his children, Sally Bolin and Robert "Fritz" Veeder; and his brothers, Robert and John Veeder.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his children, Gerald "Duce" Veeder of Interlaken, NY, Tanya Veeder of Seneca Falls, NY and Sharon Thomas of California; his stepchildren, Sam Lanza (Tania) of Buffalo, NY, Michelle Cieri (Erick) of Waterloo, NY and Lisa Lanza-Daugherty (Bruce) of Ten Mile, FL; his sisters, Bonnie Thomas of Waterloo, NY and Cathie Cowan of Seattle, WA; and his stepbrother Jay Shoots. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
