He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Tolbert and Ellen E. Tolbert. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his son Todd (Dawn Blakeslee); his grandson Seth; his great grandchild Andrew; his sisters, Cynthia Whalen (William), Linda Adams (Jeff) and Phyllis Tolbert; and his sister-in-law Jackie Lamica. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In 1997 he received another Kidney transplant through the National Kidney Foundation of NNY.
