She was predeceased by: her parents, George Meister and Bertha Jaumann Meister; her husband Robert J. Rafferty; her daughter Christine Szabo (Robert); and her stepsister Mary Gulley.

She is survived by: her children, Joseph R. Rafferty (Kara) of Gansevoort and Kim Ferguson (Keith) of Manhattan; her sister Joan Passalacqua (Edward) of LasVegas, NV; her stepsisters, Josephine Bonville and Elizabeth Malo of Watervliet; her grandchildren, Sarah, Liam, Aidan Wissinger, Macey Eckhardt (Benjamin), Isabella Goitia, Molly Elizabeth and Nicholas Rafferty; and her great grandchildren, Hunter, Ivey and Jade.

Riding to work together, having coffee when we arrived with “The Breakfast Club”, meeting again for lunch and riding back home together...never running out of conversation. I think few people knew of your dry sense of humor - your quiet comments during political meetings made me laugh out loud so many times. My heart is broken and I will miss you dearly.
