He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Hope Oliver. He is survived by: his parents, Lt. John R. Bemis and Janice A. Bemis (Lemire) of Waterford, NY; his wife Keenya Oliver Bemis; his daughter Rowan Olivia Bemis; his brother Russell Bemis (Erica) of Millbury, MA; his nephew Paul; his brother Andrew Bemis; his nephews, Jackson and David; his niece Amelia; his father-in-law Eugene Oliver Jr.; and his stepmother-in-law Sharlene Brown Oliver. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home (149 Old Loudon Rd, Latham, NY 12110). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to the Boy Scouts of America or a charity of choice.
