With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred A. Black (Waterford, New York), born in Alcove, New York, who passed away on October 4, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Glasser and Dorothy Glasser; her children, Barbara Moylan and Reginald Black; and her sisters, Yvonne Penrose and Edna Villarama.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Black (Valerie) of Speigletown, Eleanor Anderson (Michael) of Lansingburgh and Jessica Black of Rotterdam; her grandchildren, Joshua Moylan, Tara Anderson and Shayla Marro; and her siblings, Joan Glasser and Martin Glasser (Sue). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

When I left Troy center I still was able to see her at Dialysis were we talked and caught up on things. She always talked highly of her family and cat. She had a true heart of gold if you knew her. Thank you for you service she was proud of being in Army as she should be.She will be missed deeply.”
