She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Brisson and Mary Stephenson Brisson; and her son Richard W. Shumway III. She is survived by: her children, Ryan Shumway of Troy, Catherine Kilmer (Karl) of Cohoes and Corey LaBello (Chad) of Troy; and her siblings, Dawn Quackenbush of Rensselaer, William Brisson of Cohoes, Eileen Thompson of Cohoes and Mary Abdella of Cohoes. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
