He is survived by: his wife Victoria DeCoteau Shear; his daughter Madeline Zehshear of Royersford, PA; his stepchildren, Krystine Mancucci of Niskayuna and Chelsea Mancucci of Halfmoon; his siblings, Frederick Shear IV (Christina) of Saratoga Springs, Marianne Caruso (Dan) of Clifton Park and Marlene Drobnicki (Matthew) of Waterford; his grandchildren, Avery and Lily Molnar; and his nieces and nephews, Jill Caruso Kirkhart (Sean), Beth Caruso Stengrevics (Nate), Stephen Caruso (Kelle) and Frederick Shear V (Veronica).
