He was predeceased by: his parents, Demarest Neary and Anna Mae Godfrey Neary; his spouse Gayle Fitzgerald Neary; his sister Joyce A. Neary; and his grandchild Nicklaus Donald Weaver.
He is survived by: his children, Judith DeLong-Broda (Douglas) of Troy, Donna Neary-Hart (Anthony) of Watervliet, Christine Carta (George) of Latham and Brian Neary (Nicole) of Schaghticoke; his sister-in-law Diane Colvin of Poestenkill; his grandchildren, Lauren, Amanda (Bryan), Matthew, Scott DeLong, Valerie Weaver (Jake), Alison, Anna Pluckrose, Blaine, Zoe and Demarest Neary; his great grandchildren, Nicklaus E. Weaver and Joy Michele Weaver; and his cousin Frank Godfrey (Janet).
