David Thomas Kelley Obituary
Age 61, of Waterford, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Erie VA Medical Center. He was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina on January 8, 1956 to Thomas Kelley and the late Emily Pauline Kelley. David proudly served as a U.S. Marine for 12 years. After his service, he worked for the Erie County Prison as Captain. David most enjoyed hunting with his son, David Jr., as well as his daughter in law, Bethany.
He also enjoyed walking the fields of his farm with his dog, Tuffy. He was preceded in death by his sons, Mark Kelley and Cullen Kelley, and daughter, Colleen Kelley. He was survived by his caring wife, Michelle Hawk Kelley. He is further survived by his children, David Kelley Jr., Patrick Kelley and Susie "Kelley" Holberton.
Also surviving are his siblings, John & Thomas Kelley as well as many other extended family members. Friends and family may attend visiting hours at Van Matre Funeral Home, 105 Walnut Street, Waterford, on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Erie VA Medical Center.
