He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry J. Hastings, Sr. and Clare Hastings (Martin); and his brothers, Harry Hastings, Jr. and Douglas Hastings. He is survived by: his children, Robert Hastings of Millbrook and Christine Hastings of Millbrook; and his stepsons, Ronald Briggs of Millbrook and David Biggs of Syracuse. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
