He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Steamboat" and Mary Lechlear (Allen); his daughter Cheryl Allen; and his stepmother Doris Allen. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Michon; his children, George Allen (Aimee) of Holland, MA and Kimberly Strothers of Chicopee, MA.; his grandchildren, Nicole, Alissa Strothers, Paige, Jacob Funk, Dan and Cory Allen; and his great grandchild Oliver Allen.
