She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Ferguson and Nannie Lee Ferguson; her husband William O. Valentine; her daughter Robynne L. Orben; her son-in-law Randell Brown; her sister Virginia L. Spence; her nephew Richard Judd; and her niece Judith George.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl G. Brown of Washingtonville, Andrea C. Valentine of Jamaica, NY and William D. Valentine (Mary) of New Britain, CT; her grandchildren, Erick Brown, Brandon Brown, Jared Brown, Joshua Valentine and Jenna Valentine Thomas; her great grandchildren, Jayla, Aarya, Christian, Aaron and Kaiden; and her sister Elsie M. Ferguson of Cornwall, NY. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
