He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward King and Mary King (Randles); and his sister Mary-Lee Kelly. He is survived by: his son Kevin King (Emily); his grandson Vincent King; and his siblings, Patricia Gillespie (Billy), Eddie King (Peggy), Marguerite Corcoran (Charlie), Tommy King (Christine), Susie Hughes (Mike) and Jamie Sidoti (Joe). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
