He is survived by: his parents, Donald Fais and Ruth Fais (Enste); his wife Valerie; his children, Christopher and Kimberley; his siblings, Janet and James; his sisters-in-law, Laura and Judy; his pet Kitty Hawk; and also, Thomas, Douglas, John, Debra and Dianne.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the hosting church, Hope Lodge NYC, or Eleventh Hour Rescue.
