He was predeceased by: his wife Jennifer Forbes; his sister Helen Wallace; and his parents, Arthur Forbes and Beatrice Forbes. He is survived by: his children, Wanda Brendenbeck, Jacqueline Barnes and Dawn Volkmer John Forbes; his grandchildren, Jessica Harris, Jocelyn Brabham, Ernst Fortune, Angela Barnes, Toni Barnes, Desiree Forbes, Joshua Brendenbeck, Nicholas Barnes, Michael Volkmer, Tiffney Forbes, Destiny Forbes, Miah Forbes and Scott Volkmer; and his great grandchildren, Alexis Fortune, Giselle Fortune, Sebastian Brendenbeck and Davion Forbes.
