She was predeceased by: her parents, Marilyn Jacob and William Jacob; and her former husband Ronald Joseph Russo. She is survived by: her son Ronny Russo; her stepdaughter Stefanie Russo; her husband Douglas Hoffman; her children, Brittney Hoffman of Cornwall, NY, Oliver, Lily, Tiger and Keewee; her brother Robert Jacob (Bobby); her sister-in-law Jan of Wisconsin; her sister Nancy Mitts; her brother-in-law Ande Lee Mitts; her nephew Ande William Mitts (Marianne); and her niece Melissa Blaszczyk-Brewer.

In lieu of flowers, in Joan's name we would ask for donations to be made to the Blooming Grove Humane Society.
