She is survived by: her parent Geraldine Polderdyke Melnik; her children, Matthew Hilliard of Astoria, NY, Lauren Hilliard of Raleigh, NC, Emily Hilliard and Anthony Caponero of Chester, NY; her husband Bob Hilliard of Bergenfield, NJ; her siblings, Julie McDonald (Michael) of Byron, MI, Joseph Melnik II (Esther) of Cypress, TX and Eugene Melnik (Julie) of Pinckney, MI; and also Angela Januzzi of Astoria, NY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
