It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene Bauer of Washingtonville, New York, born in New York, New York, who passed away on February 26, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Bauer and Vivian Bauer; his wife Jean; his brother Richard (Gloria); and his sons, Michael (Barbara), Jeffrey (JoAnn) and Christopher (Kristina). He was also cherished by three grandsons, four granddaughters, and one great-granddaughter.
In recognition of the pandemic, memorial services will be held at a future time to be determined. And in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Police Athletic League of NYC (http://www.palnyc.org) and Project Liberty Ship (http://www.ssjohnwbrown.org).
